Census records, newspapers on microfilm, and an extensive Genealogy Library.

The Library has the Big Spring Herald on microfilm, from 1901 when it was called The Enterprise.  They will copy obituaries from this microfilm and mail to you if you can provide exact death date.  The obituaries are not indexed so the date is necessary as otherwise it would take hours to search through all of the papers.

Provide them with - Name of Deceased

                                  Date of Death

                                  Stamped, Self Addressed Envelope

Fees - Research, $10/hour with a one hour minimum;  50 cents per copy - Research & copy fees must be prepaid.
